Merritt MedCare was created in 2024 after a group of local healthcare providers realized the need for truly locally owned, locally operated healthcare was needed in Western North Carolina.
Our mission statement is simple: Locally Owned - Providers You Trust - The Care You Deserve.
Merritt MedCare offers family medicine services, including Medicare Annual Wellness Exams, sports physicals, DOT physicals, and walk-in services for non-emergency injuries and illness. Our clinic functions much like an urgent care clinic would in Bryson City, NC. If you need an immediate care clinic on your Western NC vacation we’re here to help.

Merritt MedCare functions much like an urgent care clinic. While we do have family medicine appointments available, you can always walk in for non-emergency care.
